Ben here – if we haven’t met, I’m a copywriter here at Avion. I work on all kinds of projects across different sectors, from wedding rings to aged care.

Highlights and key projects

During my first year at Avion, I’ve been lucky enough to work on some incredible projects. One highlight was writing the website copy for the CEO Sleepout, a homelessness fundraising campaign run by St Vinnies, and flying to Sydney for one of their strategy workshops.

I’m passionate about emotional wellbeing, so I also love writing blogs for the youth mental health organisation, headspace.

Best thing I’ve learnt while at Avion

Avion has decked out my SEO toolbox and sharpened my ability to always keep the reader front of mind. We have fun here, and I’ve learnt heaps about how to collaborate effectively and integrate different ideas into one piece of content.

Fun facts about me

  • I’ve read tarot cards since I was 16.
  • I’m currently co-writing a play about a human experiment.
  • I make a mean mushroom risotto (the trick is a whole bottle of white wine).
